What is Vidalista 20 mg?

Vidalista 20 mg is a medication whose active ingredient is tadalafil, a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. It is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men by improving blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation.

“Vidalista” is a generic brand (manufactured in India) equivalent to Cialis, which also contains tadalafil. Because it’s generic, Vidalista is often less expensive than brand Cialis, while delivering the same active compound.

How Vidalista 20 Works

During sexual stimulation, the body releases nitric oxide (NO) in the penile blood vessels.
NO activates an enzyme that raises levels of cGMP, causing smooth muscle relaxation and vasodilation (widening of blood vessels).
By inhibiting PDE5, tadalafil prevents the breakdown of cGMP, thus prolonging its effect and helping sustain an erection.
In clinical trials, tadalafil 20 mg has been shown to significantly improve erectile function compared to placebo.

Uses / Indications

Erectile Dysfunction (ED).
This is the primary indication. It is taken “as needed” before sexual activity (not as a continuous daily therapy in most cases).
Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) / Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms.
In some settings, tadalafil is also used to relieve urinary symptoms related to prostate enlargement (though at usually lower daily doses).

Dosage & Administration
